This Green-Electrons IP provides an easy-to-use, low-area-utilization solution for FPGA interfacing to AD7616 16-channel ADC.

Key facts
IP configures and communicates with AD7616 in software mode. That allows the user to have highest level of configurability and customization for AD7616 device. Yet, all user needs to do is to select his required operation parameters for chip at the time of instantiating the IP.
IP provides 17 AXI stream master interfaces for to put out the received data from AD7616 ADC to the next on-FPGA module. 16 of these interfaces are per-channel samples. The 17th interface puts the samples of all channels into one single stream.
The following Figure shows the IP instantiated in a Vivado block design.
IP supports both Xilinx and Microchip (Microsemi) FPGA targets.

The following shows a block diagram of the IP connected to AXI DMA. This allows the entire sampled data by the ADC to be transfered to PS side DRAM memory easily.
