FPGA Interface IP for DAC61402 and DAC81402 D-to-A chips
Green Electrons DAC61402 DAC81402 interface IP provides a very easy to use FPGA IP for interfacing to Texas Instruments DAC61402 and DAC81402 digital to analog converters. The IP comnes along with several design examples showing how the IP can be instantiated in the design and used. The IP allows for minimum attention from software since it is capable of configuring the DAC and starting it itself.
IP can be used with any Series-7 AMD (Xilinx) device (Zynq, Zynq Ultrascale+, Kintex, Artix, Spartan,...)
Key facts and contents
IP supports both of TI DAC61402 and DAC81402 chips. IP enables the full set of chip features, including CRC calculations.
IP comes with working examples for DAC81402 evaluation kit. Examples include using Vitis-HLS for creating waveform patterns to be sent to the DAC. Examples contain both FPGA design and related software.
